Fireproof Media Storage Safe Vault by FireKing

More and more businesses are storing their records electronically. Even if you back up your computer records and files, they still aren¹t safe. This is why FireKing offers the MV1000 Media Vault. CDs, zip disks, diskettes, microfiche and data cartridges are more sensitive to heat than paper records. This is why the Media Vault is specially designed to protect them from the harmful effects of heat, as well as humidity, dust and magnetic fields.

The Media Vault is the only media safe of its size to carry a UL Class 125 1-hour rating for insulated record protection equipment. This specification ensures that the interior temperature of the storage device does not exceed 125°F when exposed to a fire of 1700°F for a period of one hour, and during that time the interior relative humidity does not exceed 85%RH. A high-security key lock is an integral part of the Media Vault's design. This lock is conveniently on the lid and is readily accessible. Affordable and compact, the Media Vault works as a stand-alone unit and is small enough to fit under a desk or credenza.
